Jacque Passino rejoined
Tonyís Tavern in 2008. He is one of the last players on the
team to start with Club Texas. Rene Kozarsky and Jacque Passino
are the last remaining 2003 Club Texas Alumni on the team.
Jacque returns to
Tonyís Tavern after finishing college at Ole Miss. Passino
played his college lacrosse at Wingate University on scholarship
before leaving to finish school at Old Miss. Passino brings
great offensive awareness to a potent Tony's Tavern offense.
He's willing to do the little things to help the team win
whether itís grabbing a ground ball or setting picks on
offense. Jacque plays solid defense and does a good job
clearing the ball. Passino scored 3 goals this season each in
victories for the team. Jacque also, give the team another
option at the face-off X; he still holds a record at Episcopal
HS for winning 21/22 face-offs in a game. Passinoís skills as a
lacrosse player add to the talent on the midfield and make the
case that Tonyís has a very talented midfield unit than can
rival any in the state.
Jacque is a dynamic
player that can play shortstick and longpole midfield when
called upon as well as face-off. His overall understanding of
offense and defense make Jacque an important part of the team in
2010. Having Passino on the team will ensure that Tonyís Tavern
gets on top of all the loose balls and has a dominant offense;
which are keys to many more victories.
